CURRENTLY AT AUCTION AT ROCK ISLAND AUCTION    Blackfoot Dag Knife

Blackfoot and Plains Indian Dag Knife.  I have dated it to the period of 1850 to 1865.  The handle is brass pinned in six placements, and has decorative copper pins around the edges both sides.  It is missing one copper pin.  The handle appears to be walnut wood, it is not cracked and is fitted tight.  The blade is full tang, in the dagger pattern.  All patina remains and has not been cleaned.  There are no visible markings on the blade.  More photos available and I will arrange an inspection if you want to handle the knife.   Offered at $2400.00
